They hibernated and impatiently start the countdown for the end of the summer season. It is the need of the hour to create awareness among the patients. In summers due to the heat the temperature of body and muscles increases. When a patient exposed to the high heat or sunlight, he loses the water or body liquids easily. Because of this patients get dehydrated. They get tired very easily.

The most important thing is to keep yourself hydrated. Drink a lot of water. Drink water after half an hour or an hour. It doesn’t matter that you are thirsty or not. You feel thirsty when dehydration started. It is not compulsory to drink a whole glass of water at a time. You can drink it in sips. Keep a water bottle along with you and drink water in sips after small intervals. Do not drink alcohol as it can cause you serious damage in summers. Because of Alcohol, you can lose all your body fluids. It is also recommended to not drink overly cold liquids. These cold drinks can cause you the cramping.
Keep yourself cool
You can lessen the risk of severe pain and other symptoms by keeping yourself and your surroundings cool. Sit in an air-conditioned room. Take a bath with cold water twice a day. Go for swimming. In case of muscle pain, an ice pack can also help you and can provide you relief. You can use ice packs or ice cubes to minimize the effects of hot weather.
Wear loose, cool, thin, and comfortable clothes. It is suggested to use white or light color dresses because they do not observe the heat. While dark colors observe the heat and can cause discomfort.
The body of the fibromyalgia patient is not able to adjust the body temperatures according to the weather. It causes trouble for the patients. All the extreme weathers including summer worsen the disease. It causes severe pain and discomfort for the patient. A patient makes himself hibernate to avoid sun exposer.
